Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting and possess strong organizational and communication skills. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, maintaining suction, and providing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Perform dental charting and documentation of patient information
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls, greeting patients, and managing patient records

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or CAD is a plus
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is beneficial
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and maintaining medical records is required
- Experience in assisting with patient assessment, particularly in pediatrics, is desirable
